APRISE has partnered with United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) to host two Industry Day sessions on Thursday, August 27: SPIDERS JCTD Phase 3 and Biofuels. These unique events are recommended for stakeholders with an interest in the development of cyber-secure microgrids or biofuels development and deployment. Pre-registraiton is required; there is no charge to attend.

Session 1: Hear about a groundbreaking Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) project named Smart Power Infrastructure Demonstration for Energy Reliability and Security (SPIDERS). The event consists of presentations from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM covering the mechanical, electrical and control system design for cyber-secure microgrids and will address the costs and benefits including the cost of cybersecurity.
Session 2: Biofuels. Hear about partnerships and progress to meet the goal of cost-competitive aviation and marine biofuels for the U.S. and Asia-Pacific by 2018. 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
